G.3. Sign Language Interpreter Tentative Labor Agreement - Liz Windingstad
Discussion:
A tentative labor agreement has been reached between the Sign Language Interpreter Union and the school district for school years 2022-2023 and 2023-2024.
The elements of this agreement are as follows: various minor date and language changes, clarifying seniority based upon certification level, clarifying language for e-Learning days, adding language allowing time to meet with teachers they will be working with prior to each school year and/or semester, increasing the health insurance contribution by $500 in 2022-23 and $500 in 2023-24, removing the district contribution for long term disability, changing the 403b matching contribution to one flat rate versus a table based upon years of service, clarifying skills evaluation and goal setting for Interpreters, increasing the start rate pay bands for new hires, and increasing wages by 5.5% in 2022-2023 and 5.4% in 2023-24. The total increase in costs to the district for this agreement is estimated to be 10.46% over the two years. G.4. Technology Group Agreement - Liz Windingstad
Discussion:
The Technology group is receiving a total two year group package of 10.46%. The increase will be solely on wages. The group will remove the $50 district contribution towards Long Term Disability and use those funds on wages. There will be a 6.22% increase in wages in 2022-23 and a $1.38 increase in wages for everyone in the group in 2023-24.
