CANCELLATION OF AUGUST 9, 2022 REGULAR MEETING
 
The Unity School Board President has made the decision to cancel the regular school board meeting, originally scheduled to occur on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at 6:00pm, in light of the recent death of dedicated Unity School Board member James Beistle and the plan to hold his visitation and funeral services on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, that afternoon and evening.
 
It is likely that a quorum of the Board members will be present at Mr. Beistle’s visitation and funeral https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/name/james-beistle-obituary?id=36148376   However, at that time, the Board members will not convene a meeting and they will not conduct the School District’s business.
 
The Board will meet for a Special Meeting on August 16, 2022, at 6pm to conduct the School District’s business, including any and all matters, which the Board originally planned to address during the regular August 2022 meeting.
