Moffat Consolidated #2 Public View

MSCD#2 will be hosting a social dinner with the CCS Governing Council prior to the regular BOE meeting. This pre-meeting dinner is limited to social and relationship building  conversation. Out of an abundance of caution, the BOE is posting public notice. 

The Moffat Consolidated #2 School Board will meet for a superintendent update, a review of the minutes from August and September, discussion regarding the Get It Done Campaign,  resolutions, community initiatives, governance, G-7 and G-8 policy, mill levy, and the CCS GC dinner. 

Cancel the 2025 Coordinated Election and Declare Candidates Elected by Acclamation

As of the close of business on September 2, 2025 (the 63rd day before the election), we have exactly three qualified candidates for the three open director seats, no additional filings, and
no ballot issues. Absent any write-in affidavits, the District meets the statutory conditions under C.R.S. § 1-5-208(1.5) to cancel the election and declare the candidates elected by
acclamation.

The Board will be in attendance at the CASB Regional Meeting in Monte Vista at the Ski High Complex. 

The board must take formal action prior to this date to participate in the coordinated election and to designate an election official. C.R.S. §§ 1-1-104(8); 1-1-106(5); 1-7-116(5).
