Description:
We acknowledge that the sacred land that we live and
learn on today belongs to the Takelma, Shasta, Modoc, Klamath & Umpqua peoples. We honor and acknowledge the traditional owners of the land we now call the United States. We recognize the Native American peoples' continuing connection to land, place, waters and community. We pay our respects to their cultures, country and elders past, present and emerging. |

9.A. ACTION ITEM: ASD Budget Committee - Appoint New Members (5 minutes)

Description:
The terms of two community representatives on the Budget Committee expired in June 2022. One of these, Chris Chambers, has agreed to continue for an additional term. The Board is advancing Russell Hatch as the candidate to fill the open position.

10. Announcements and Appointments

10.A. The Board will not hold a Work Session in December. WINTER BREAK is from December 19, 2022, to January 3, 2023.
|
10.B. The Board will hold a Regular Session meeting on Monday, January 9, 2023, at 7:00 pm in the City Council Chamber, 1175 E. Main Street, Ashland.
|
10.C. The District Enrollment Rebalancing Committee will host a community open house on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at 6:00 pm to give the public an opportunity to offer feedback on draft revisions to zone boundaries.

10.D. The Board will hold a work session on Monday, January 23, 2023, at 7:00 pm via Zoom.
