A Budget Hearing will be convened for the purpose of approving a recommended supplemental budget for school year 2021-2022. Please see attached. Public comment may be submitted.
Recommended Resolution: I move the Ashland School District appropriate the 2021-22 Supplemental Budget in the following amounts: Special Revenue Fund Instruction $8,000,647 Support Services $3,213,246 Community Services $1,013,443 Total Special Revenue Fund Requirements $12,347,336

3. Land Acknowledgment
We acknowledge that the sacred land that we live and learn on today belongs to the Takelma, Shasta, Modoc, Klamath & Umpqua peoples. We honor and acknowledge the traditional owners of the land we now call the United States. We recognize the Native American peoples' continuing connection to land, place, waters and community. We pay our respects to their cultures, country and elders past, present and emerging.
Description:
The Native American Student Union (NASU) at Ashland Middle School created a land acknowledgment to honor the origins of the lands on which our schools operate.
