E.1. Recommend Approval to Hire Assistant to the Principal at Flowing Wells High School for the 2022-2023 School Year

E.1.a. District Administration recommends approval of Allison Embacher to serve as the Assistant to the Principal at Flowing Wells High School, to become effective July 1, 2022.

E.2. Review of Policy IHDHB - Online/Concurrent/Correspondence Courses

E.2.a. Policy IHDHB is presented for review (no action to be taken at this meeting). This policy formalizes the procedures already being instituted in the Flowing Wells District regarding criteria for online courses and the establishment and implementation of Arizona Online Instruction (AOI) programs.

F. Business and Finance

F.1. Recommend Approval to award RFP# 23-02-27 for Security Services to American Guard Services

F.1.a. District Administration recommends approval to award RFP# 23-02-27 for security services to American Guard Services. This award would encompass security services at Flowing Wells High School and Flowing Wells Junior High School, to become effective July 1, 2022.

F.2. Recommend Approval of Renewed Agreement with SESI (Specialized Education Services Inc.), formerly Catapult Learning, to provide tuition-out services for students with emotional disabilities

F.2.a. District Administration recommends approval to renew the agreement with SESI to provide services for students with emotional disabilities at the Richardson Sierra School program. The fee of $49,095 per month for ten months is an increase over the prior year monthly fee of $45,882.

F.3. Recommend Approval of Sole Source Vendor List for FY2022-2023

F.3.a. District Administration recommends approval of the Sole Source Vendor List for Fiscal Year 2022-2023. The District has, to the extent practicable, made efforts to seek other sources, determined that the prices are fair and reasonable, and negotiated with the single supplier a contract that is advantageous to the District. The list of vendors is attached.

F.4. Recommend Approval of FY2022 IGA with Vail Unified School District to provide Support for AzEDS State Reporting Requirements

F.4.a. District Administration recommends approval to renew the IGA with Vail Unified School District to provide support services for state reporting of student data through the AzEDS platform. This IGA would retroactively apply to the period from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022.

F.5. Recommend Approval of FY2023 IGA with Vail Unified School District to provide Support for AzEDS State Reporting Requirements

F.5.a. District Administration recommends approval to renew the IGA with Vail Unified School District to provide support services for state reporting of student data through the AzEDS platform. This IGA would be in effect from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023. 

F.6. Recommend Evaluation and Approval of Administrative Merit Compensation Plan

F.6.a. District Administration recommends evaluation of the 2021-2022 Administrative Merit Compensation Plan based on the Governing Board's established Goals and Initiatives and requests the determination of an accompanying performance level.
