F.1. Recommend Approval of Revisions to 2024-2025 Support Salary Schedule
|
F.1.a. District administration recommends approval of revisions to the 2024-2025 Support Salary Schedule. Changes include increasing the rate of pay for Substitute Night Custodians and Student Workers from $14.94/hour to $15.00/hour to comply with the City of Tucson minimum wage increase that becomes effective on January 1. Additional changes include adding the new Technology Operations Specialist position and the Transportation Training and Safety Coordinator position (both positions have been approved by the Board in a prior meeting and now are being added to this document).

F.2. Recommend Award of the Flowing Wells District SIte Improvement Bid # 25-03-25 to Pima Paving
|
F.2.a. On November 7, 2024, the District issued Bid # 25-03-25 for the Flowing Wells District Site Improvement project. The solicitation was advertised on AZ Purchasing, the District's website, and in the newspaper. The District held a pre-bid conference attended by potential contractors and subcontractors. The District received six bids by the due date of December 4, 2024. The bid log is attached for your reference. The lowest bid was submitted by Pima Paving in the amount of $515,562.65.
District administration recommends the Governing Board award Bid # 25-03-25 to Pima Paving which was the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. This project will be funded with Unrestricted Capital.

G.1. Discussion of Draft Calendar for 2026-2027 School Year
|
G.1.a. District administration will present a draft of the 2026-2027 school year calendar. No action will be taken regarding this item during the current Board Meeting to allow public review and comment prior to a request for approval in January.

G.2. Information and Discussion regarding Girls Flag Football as a Varsity Sport at FWHS
|
G.2.a. District administration presents information regarding Girls Flag Football, which is being considered for inclusion as a varsity sport at FWHS starting in the 2025-2026 school year. Information is brought for discussion, with no action to be taken by the Board at this meeting. Possible future action would entail approval of Special Activity Compensation (SAC) stipends for Girls Flag Football coaches.

|
G.3.a. District administration recommends approval of a field placement agreement with the University of Mary (UM), effective through May 1, 2026, to authorize the District to host UM school counseling interns.
