F.1. Request Approval of CLFRF PEEPs Amended IGA for 2022-2024
|
F.1.a. District Administration recommends approval of revisions to the IGA with Pima County for the Pima Early Education Program Scholarships (PEEPs) program that provides funding for one current preschool classroom and up to three preschool classrooms in the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years. The revisions to the IGA include increased funding, from $132,000 for one classroom to $518,484 for three classrooms, along with the requirement that DES-eligible families apply for and accept DES subsidies if approved.

G.1. Recommend Approval to Table the textbook entitled Inspire Science Physics prior to Adoption Consideration
|
G.1.a. District Administration recommends a sixty-day table of the Inspire Science Physics textbook, published by McGraw Hill Education, to allow for public review and comment prior to a formal request to adopt the textbook for use with the Introduction to Physics course.

|
G.2.a. District Administration recommends moving the early release day currently scheduled for Friday, February 3, 2023, to one day earlier on Thursday, February 2. Historically this early release day has taken place on a Thursday to avoid excess absences associated with an early release day on a Friday.

G.3. Recommend Approval of Revision to 2023-2024 Calendar
|
G.3.a. District Administration recommends moving the early release day currently scheduled for Friday, February 9, 2024, to one day earlier on Thursday, February 8. Historically this early release day has taken place on a Thursday to avoid excess absences associated with an early release day on a Friday.

G.4. Recommend Approval of Updated Safe Return and COVID Mitigation Plan and Authorization of Superintendent to Make Ongoing Changes
|
G.4.a. District Administration recommends approval to revise the Flowing Wells Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and COVID-19 Mitigation Plan and to authorize the superintendent to make ongoing incremental changes prior to requesting Board approval at a subsequent meeting. This revision transitions the District to mask-optional status for all students, staff, and visitors both indoors and outdoors. Changes in the attached draft occur on pages 2 and 3, with strikethrough text to show deletions and underlined text to show insertions.
