E.1. Discussion of Mid-Year Analysis of Revenues and Expenses for Flowing Wells Community Schools Programs
|
E.1.a. District Administration presents for review a mid-year analysis of revenues and expenses related to the Community Schools programs. The report indicates Community Schools has an initial deficit of $24,397. However, this is offset by revenue received from the Empower Stabilization Childcare Grant. This grant provides support and assistance to cover childcare costs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

E.2. Recommend Approval of IGA with Altar Valley School District regarding Shared Transportation Responsibilities
|
E.2.a. District Administration recommends approval of an IGA with the Altar Valley School District (AVSD) to establish shared transportation responsibilities and costs. In this agreement, FW would provide two morning routes, two after-school routes, and one evening route for students who live in Altar Valley. FW would incur costs related to salaries and benefits for bus drivers, monitors, and aides as needed, and AVSD would reimburse FW for vehicle fuel and maintenance costs or would provide vehicles for temporary use.

E.3. Recommend Approval of MOU with Arizona Board of Regents on behalf of Northern Arizona University
|
E.3.a. District Administration recommends approval of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) on behalf of Northern Arizona University (NAU) to provide eligible FW employees with a tuition reduction of ten percent off the standard tuition rate for approved programs at NAU. In exchange, FW would agree to inform employees about the opportunity and provide employment verification information to NAU.

E.4. Recommend Approval to Continue the MOU with COPE Community Services
|
E.4.a. District Administration recommends continuation of the MOU with COPE Community Services to provide access to behavioral health services for FW students who are referred by a FW employee and whose parents/guardians provide permission to COPE. The District would agree to provide directory information once parent permission had been obtained, and COPE would provide services for students/families and would share participation data with FW.
