Swimming
Vera Olson competed with the Ft. Scott Coop Women's Swim Team. Vera placed 2nd of 56 competitors in the 50 yard freestyle, swimming her fastest time of 27.44. She also placed 2nd in the 100 yard freestyle out of 26 competitors, swimming a best time of 1:00.91. She dropped more than 6 seconds from the 100 over the course of the season. Both of the relays on which she swam placed 1st at League. She was recognized 1st Team All-League for her achievements. She was an alternate for the state competition.
