  • Stella Schlak, BCMS 8th grader, who was chosen as one of the first-ever AVID Student Emcees at an AVID Summer Institute. She'll host a 75-minute general session for 500+ educators at the Marquee AVID Summer Institute in Kansas City. 
  • BHS Hall of Fame inductees Parker Carlson and Audyn Molesky.
  • BHS Seniors Lauren Berg and Hans Pederson, American Legion Citizenship Award recipients.
  • BCMS students who participated in honor bands, hosted by the Central Minnesota Band Directors Association: Ryan Chen, Jameson Otto, Philip Rusch-Wichtendahl, Jaxson Carroll, Lauren Smith, Remy Bebber, Skyler Theis, Macen Moe, Sawyer Schlak, Paige Hiestand, and Dorothy Karson.
  • BCMS students Henry Winger, Dorothy Karson, and Elsie Johanson, who qualified for nationals in the annual History Day competition.
  • BHS Assistant Principal Stephanie Ward, who was named High School Assistant Principal of the Year for the Central Division of the MN Association of Secondary School Principals.
  • BCMS Special Education Teacher Joey Hartfiel, who was chosen by Fox 9 as one of only 10 Top Teachers out of hundreds of nominations submitted from the station's viewing area.
  • Tatanka Elementary STEM School Teacher, Kristine Johnson, who has been named a KS95 Teacher of the Week.
  • Audyn Molesky, BHS Senior, who served as the Student Council Representative to the Board of Education for 2025-26.
