The Hockley County Appraisal District has adopted its required 2027-2028 Reappraisal Plan. This plan outlines how the appraisal district will inspect, analyze, and value property throughout the county to ensure property values reflect current market conditions and comply with Texas law. It does not set tax rates or increase taxes—it simply establishes the process for determining property values that taxing entities, like Levelland ISD, use when adopting their tax rates.
