This informal meeting will provide training for the 2024-25 Budget Committee.  The committee will hear a presentation on the roles and responsibilities for the development of the 2024-2025 budget. 

The Banks School District Board of Directors will meet in executive session to conduct deliberations with persons designated to carry on labor negotiations.  The executive session is held pursuant to ORS 192.610 (2)(i), which allows the Board of Directors to meet in executive session to discuss and evaluate the job performance of a chief executive officer, other officers, employees and staff, if the person whose performance is being reviewed and evaluated does not request an "open hearing" as well as and ORS 192.610 (2)(d) which allows the Board of Direcotrs to conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to carry on labor negotiations. Representatives of the news media shall be allowed to attend the executive session.  All other members of the audience are asked to leave the room.  Representatives of the news media are specifically directed not to report on any of the deliberations during the executive session, except to state the general subject of the session as previously announced.

A public meeting of the Banks School District will be held on June 12, 2023 at 6:00 pm at Banks, Oregon. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the budget for the fiscal year
beginning July 1, 2023 as approved by the Banks School District Budget Committee. A copy of the budget may be inspected or
obtained at the Banks School District office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., or online at www.banks.k12.or.us. This budget is for an annual budget period. This
budget was prepared on a basis of accounting that is the same as the preceding year.
