Consider Approval of Memorandum of Understanding Between Alief ISD and University of Houston Victoria to Participate in Academic Opportunities for Students, Teachers, Administrators, and Staff Across Multiple Educational and Occupational Levels (Elizabeth Veloz-Powell, Deputy Superintendent of Human Resources) Board Goal: #4 Alief ISD will recruit, develop, and retain highly qualified and effective personnel.

9.5. Consider Approval of Statement of Work Between Alief ISD and Abilene Christian University. Provides an Opportunity for District Personnel to Pursue an ACUD Bachelor's Degree in Integrated Studies with Concentrations in Psychology and Communication (or other concentrations as appropriate) thus Qualifying them to Meet the Degree Requirements Needed to Become Certified Teachers. 9.6. Consider Approval of An Agreement Between Alief ISD and E-Therapy to provide qualified Speech and Language Therapists (SLP) to provide therapy to students served through Special Education (Elizabeth Veloz-Powell).
