Description:
At this time the board would like to invite any member of the audience to stand with comments about items of interest or concern that do or do not appear on the agenda this evening. 7.A. WASB Community Partners
Description:
The Wisconsin Association of School Boards (WASB) Business Honor Roll recognizes outstanding local businesses that support their schools. Member school boards nominated businesses that have been helpful to their schools over the past year. Congratulations to the following businesses.

Description:
The Student Council Sergeant at Arms will provide an update on the recent activities of various student co-curricular clubs.

7.C. GTC College Transcripted Credit Program

7.D. Alternative Funding - GTC Grants
Description:
The District has received a check totaling over $55,000 for a number of mini grants from Gateway Technical College's VOICE Project. The monies will be used in the Family & Consumer Sciences Department as well as in the Technical and Engineering Education Department. Kate Brown, Director of Communications and Marketing was instrumental in helping write these grants.

8.B. Certification of Tax Levy 2023-2024

Description:
The District recommends certifying an all-fund tax levy of $11,837,007 to fund school operations, pay additional debt obligations, fund the post-employment liability trust, and provide community services.
The levy comprises payments for general operations of $7,652,375, debt service of $3,714,250, and community services of $470,382. The budget approved at the annual meeting remains balanced and the corresponding mill rate remains flat for the third consecutive year at $4.15. |
