Call the meeting to order - 7:15 p.m.
Discussion:
Mr. Hahne called the meeting to order at 7:15 p.m. Members present were: Broberg, Johnsen, Negus, Schutt, R. Tegeler and T. Tegeler. Absent: none.

Presentation and discussion of curriculum by Social Studies teachers.
Discussion:
Mr. Hahne introduced Miss Eggers, Mr. Wickizer and Mr. Prater. Miss Eggers told the board about the 1st grade's mock election day. The students registered to vote, used a voting booth and ballot to vote for their favorite Oreo cookie. Before the election, the class discussed what it means to be a good citizen as well as other election terms and meanings. Mr. Wickizer spoke about his classes covering the constitution, rights and responsibilities of citizenship, voter registration, the branches of government and the pledge of allegiance. Mr. Prater has his classes discuss the constitution and branches of government. Both Mr. Wickizer and Mr. Prater give their classes citizenship tests so the students understand the process people go through to become US citizens.
