9.b. Approve FY24 Property, Liability, Auto, and Workers' Compensation Insurance - VAALER
Presenter:
Dr. Parks
Description:
The estimated annual premium for all lines of insurance coverage is $93,836.13 which is an increase of $3,249.39 or 3% from our expiring premiums. This is a fantastic insurance renewal as most school district’s across the state are seeing over 10% increases this year. Our premium increase does contemplate increasing our main school building from a replacement cost per square foot of $275 to $300 per square foot. As discussed in the past, it is important to maintain the appropriate insured values on our main school and to keep up with inflation.
