10.a. Certify 2024 Payable 2025 Levy

Description:
At the September School Board Meeting, the preliminary 2024 Levy was approved at the maximum level. The final property levy must be certified as a specific amount through a vote of the school board. I am enclosing summary pages of the levy limitation and certification form. I am recommending we certify the levy at $1,389,143.79 for the 2024 Payable 2025 levy which is an 11.1 percent increase on the 2023 payable 2024 levy.

10.b. Approve Resolution - Combined Polling Place for School District

School District Polling Place Combination ResolutionsMinn. Stat. 205A.11 was not changed in 2023.Therefore, school districts who wish to designate combined polling places for standalone elections in 2025, must pass resolutions by December 31, 2024:

10.c. Approve Resolution Relating to the Issuance of School Building Bonds and Calling an Election Thereon

A resolution is needed to call for the issuance of school building bonds and calling for an election to be held on April 8 for the building project. This needs to be approved by January 24, 2025.
