Description:
Christopher Oldham is a dedicated educator, veteran, and servant leader with more than 17 years of experience serving students, teachers, and
communities across Texas. Before entering public education, Mr. Oldham proudly served as a combat medic in the United States Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom. The values of service, leadership, and teamwork he developed in the military continue to guide his work in education and schools everyday. During is service in education, Mr. Oldham has served as a classroom teacher, higher education Adjunct Professor (Lone Star College), High School Assistant Principal (Conroe ISD), Junior High Principal (Coldspring-Oakhurst ISD), CTE Instructional Specialist (Cy-Fair ISD), and most recently has served as the Principal of Waller High School for the past 5 years. As principal of Waller High School, he has led a comprehensive 6A Title I campus of more than 3,200 students and 335 faculty and staff, overseeing an $18 million campus budget while driving strategic initiatives focused on academic excellence, organizational leadership, and continuous improvement. Recognized for collaborative leadership, operational excellence, and a commitment to student success, Mr. Oldham has consistently led initiatives that improve student outcomes while fostering strong partnerships with staff, families, and the community. In recognition of his leadership and commitment to student success, he was named Region 4 District Secondary Principal of the Year in 2024-2025. Christopher holds a bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State University, a master's degree from Lamar University, and is completing his Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership at Liberty University. Christopher is honored to join the district as an Executive Director and looks forward to partnering with students, staff, families, and the community to support the success of every child. |

Description:
Dr. Felecia Carrington is excited to join Royal and brings broad leadership experiences from Fort Bend ISD and Alief ISD where she served as an Assistant and Associate Principal. Dr. Carrington has 27 years of experience as a teacher, lead high school counselor and administrator, serving students with diverse backgrounds including Pre-K to Adult High School campuses, Emergent Bilingual specialized programs and Alternative School campuses. She has a demonstrated track record of leading students and campuses to excellence, achieving A ratings.
Dr. Carrington began her career as a high school teacher in Alief ISD and moved on to the role of High School Lead Counselor. After serving in that role, she moved on to Assistant Principal at the elementary, junior high and high school campuses in Alief and Fort Bend ISDs. She has also served as an Associate Principal in middle school on two campuses in Fort Bend ISD. Before working in public schools, Dr. Carrington first served children and their families through her role at Children’s Protective Services. Dr. Carrington holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Prairie View A&M University. It was during this collegiate experience that she found her love of working with children compelling her to immediately pursue and complete a Master of Arts in Counseling, also from Prairie View A&M University. After serving as a high school counselor, she continued her education, earning a Master of Science in Educational Administration from the University of Houston-Victoria. Finally, she received her fourth degree with a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, specializing in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. She holds certifications in the areas of Principal, Counselor, ESL, Special Education and Business. Dr. Carrington's passion and focus is to empower and build capacity in those that she serves. She considers herself a lifelong learner, most recently completing the Project Zero Institute at Harvard University. She understands the importance and impact that a leader and educator has on others and seeks daily to pay forward the opportunities that she was herself given through impactful educators in her own path. To that end, Dr. Carrington is an active servant and leader in educational organizations. She has been newly elected to the Executive Board for the Houston Area Association of Black School Educators in May 2026 while also serving as the Logistics Chair for the Texas Association of Black School Educators. She frequently leads professional development for other educators both around the United States and internationally. Dr. Carrington considers herself blessed to join the team. Go, Falcons! |
