5.A. We proudly celebrate Human Resources Manager, Jamie McGough, who was named the Outstanding Human Resource Administrator of the Year by the Michigan Association of School Personnel Administrators during its annual conference in April
5.B. The City of Saginaw officially proclaimed April 11–17, 2026, as the “Week of the Young Child,” recognizing the critical role early childhood education plays in shaping the future of children, families, and the broader community
5.C. Thank you to Saginaw ISD Board Trustee Ruth Ann Knapp for her unwavering leadership in helping organize and facilitate the 37th Annual Saginaw County Art Exhibit
5.D. The first edition of Saginaw ISD's "The Connection Magazine" has been published for Spring 2026
5.E. New in 2026, Saginaw ISD expanded the Mridha Teacher of the Year program by adding four category winners across Preschool, Elementary, Middle School, and High School. From these honorees, one educator was selected as the overall Saginaw County Mridha Teacher of the Year and will receive a $1,000 grant in partnership with the Saginaw Community Foundation
