6. SUPERINTENDENT'S REPORT: JEFF THOMPSON
Discussion:
Mr. Thompson presented the Superintendent's report.
The Legislative Session has started, Eggs and Issues will be held this Friday at HPTC, and a reminder of who our legislatures are and how to reach them- Casey Murdock, Senator-Casey.Murdock@oksenate. gov and Mike Dobrinski, Representative-Mike.Dobrinski @okhouse.gov. Both campus passed their annual inspection from the State Fire Marshall. |

7. PRINCIPAL'S REPORT- JEFF THOMPSON AND BRAD SHRYOCK
Discussion:
Elementary report was presented by Mr. Thompson.
Enrollment is 119. The FCA, being ran by Rachel Shadrick and Chrissy Adams, will meet with 3rd/4th grade on Tuesday, and 5th/6th grade on Thursday. As a group they have collected stuffed animals for kids in the hospital, and filled the Blessing Box. Teacher Amazon Pages are still open and will be available all year. PTO is purchasing classroom supplies for students. Students of the Month-January PreK-Conrad Stephenson Kindg-Bennett Hudson 1st-Luke Owens 2nd-Nora Wallace 3rd-Bexlee Thompson 4th-Conagher Adams 5th-Crey White 6th-Julia Shadrick Employee of the month-Teacher-Stacia Cole Brad Shryock, High School Principal, presented the high school report. Jr. High Basketball completed the season last night at Cimarron with wins, High School Basketball plays districts at Timberlake, vs Vici, on Friday at 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. District Livestock Show starts Saturday with Welding Projects and Swine this weekend. Regional Basketball Tournament begins next Thursday if we advance out of Districts. The School News- paper has printed two editions so far, but haven't heard any feedback, FCCLA is selling Blue and Gold through February 26th, Girls Regional Powerlifting is on February 25th at Fairview, and Parent- Teacher Conferences are coming up February 27th and 28th. The following are facility mechanical issues the school has been experiencing- HVAC-two heaters went out over Christmas Break, froze up north end of gym. Plumbing-during the JH Tournament all of the plumbing in the gym backed up on Thursday night and Saturday. Monday we couldn't use the restroom near the office in the new building. More lateral lines were added west of the old gym. Electrical-Plug for milk cooler burned up and back through the warmer station. We need to start having discussions about some vision going forward, whether that is a bond for massive repairs to our infrastructure or building new. We are going to have to do something, as our budget will not allow us to continue to repair all that will be required to stay functioning. |
