3. Board to receive comments from Susan Capers regarding the school's employee sick leave policy, current offer of employment and future opportunities for her at Whitebead.
Discussion:
Susan Capers spoke to the school board members regarding two issues. One was having a policy to pay retirees for unused sick leave. The other issue was the salary for retire-rehire candidates. On the policy for retirees, Susan shared 3 reasons why it would be a good idea for the board to adopt the pay for unused sick leave. The board told Susan they appreciated her speaking to them and that they would take it under consideration.

Discussion:
Belinda read the Executive Session Minutes Compliance Announcement.
The board entered into executive session at 6:15 p.m. to discuss the employment of the summer personnel and superintendent evaluation C & D as authorized by 25 O.S. Section 307(B)(1). Those present in the executive session were Sandy Arroyo, Board member, Belinda Hunt, Board member, and Jason Midkiff, Superintendent. No action was taken by the board of education. |
