President Boruch called the special meeting to order at 6:30 PM. This special meeting was called for the selection of final candidates for the Superintendent position, and to conduct pre-interview meetings with the Board, and Faculty/Staff and Community Superintendent Search Committees. President Boruch informed those in attendance that the Open Meetings Act is posted on the wall, then directed those in attendance to its location.

Nebraska Rural Community Schools Association representatives, Mr. Dan Bird and Mr. Fred Helmink, guided the Board through the process of developing interview questions, reviewing the applications and resumes, and creating an interview schedule. Also, hosting responsibilities during the interview process and the rubric for hiring the Superintendent were discussed.

The Board developed a series of questions to ask the final candidates for the Superintendent's position. The Faculty/Staff and Community Superintendent Search Committees developed questions to ask the final candidates prior to this special meeting.

The applications of the Superintendent candidates were reviewed and the selection of the final candidates for interviews on Saturday, February 8th, was made.

4.1.3. Create Interview Schedule

A schedule for interviewing the final candidates for the Superintendent position on Saturday, February 8th, was proposed. The final candidates will be participating in a rotating schedule of interviewing with each of the Faculty/Staff and Community Superintendent Search Committees and the Board of Education. Also, each of the final candidates will be taken on a tour of Osceola.
