RECOGNITION OF VISITORS / PUBLIC COMMENT (Principles III and V)  The board has set aside 30 minutes for a public comment period if needed.  Time for each speaker is not to exceed 5 minutes, and they will be asked to identify themselves and who they represent.  While this meeting is open to the public, it does not facilitate direct interaction between the board and attendees during the public comment period.  However, if a comment pertains to an agenda item, the board may take note and address it accordingly.  Any concerns or comments unrelated to agenda items can be directed to the superintendent for further clarification.  The superintendent will then address these concerns at a later date and, if needed, bring them to the board for resolution or guidance.
