[Section 551.071, Government Code - Consultation With Attorney:] For a private consultation with the Board’s attorney with respect to pending or contemplated litigation or settlement offers, and/or on matters where the attorney's duty to the Board, under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with the open government provisions of Chapter 551 of the Government Code, to wit:

3.A.1. Policy DEC (Local) amendment dealing with Leaves and Absences - for second reading and possible adoption.

3.A.2. Policy DIB (Local) dealing with the Edgewood Fitness Center - for second reading and possible adoption.

3.A.3. EISD v. Josephine G. Mayo (Cause No.98-ED-0009) dealing with a condemnation matter.

3.A.4. Legal issues dealing with items proposed for Closed Session.

3.B. [Section 551.072, Government Code - deliberation regarding Real Property:] To deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property if deliberation in an open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the position of the Board in negotiations with a third party, to wit:

3.B.1. Proposed sale of former Emma Frey Elementary School to Urban Progress Corporation d/b/a Las Palmas Gardens Apartments.

3.C. [Section 551.074, Texas Government Code - Personnel Matters:] To deliberate the, appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or employee, to wit:

3.C.1. Change in Contract Status: Susan Forthman: to Pay Grade Range of AP7 - AP8, subject to assignment and reassignment by the Superintendent. [Note: Employee has requested change in contract and has been interviewed for position of Assessment Director.]

3.C.2. Teacher nominations for 2007-2008 contract year.
