Move to approve the Regular Board of Education minutes of September 14, 2017, as submitted. Carried with a motion by Mr. Zaya Oshana and a second by Mr. David Derynoski.

Move to table to the Board of Education meeting on October 26, 2017. Carried with a motion by Mr. David Derynoski and a second by Mr. Zaya Oshana.

Move to award a Southington High School Diploma to the family of Charles Remer and Raymond Burgess at the Wall of Honor on October 23, 2017. Carried with a motion by Mr. Robert Brown and a second by Mr. David Derynoski.

Move that the Board of Education approve the field trip requests for the Southington High School DECA group to travel to New York and Georgia as presented by the administration. Carried with a motion by Mrs. Terry Lombardi and a second by Mr. Robert Brown.

Move that the Board of Education accepts the Walter A. Derynoski Elementary School Window Replacement Project No. 131-0116 EC as complete and directs the administration to close-out the project with the Town’s Finance Department and the Department of Administrative Services. Carried with a motion by Mr. David Derynoski and a second by Mr. Zaya Oshana.

Motion that the Board of Education accepts the John V. Pyne Administrative Meeting Center Roof Replacement Project No. 131-0119 RR as complete and directs the administration to close-out the project with the Town’s Finance Department and the Department of Administrative Services. Carried with a motion by Mr. David Derynoski and a second by Mr. Zaya Oshana.

Move that the Board of Education adopt the Assumptions and Priorities for 2018-2019 as presented by administration. Carried with a motion by Mrs. Terri Carmody and a second by Mr. Zaya Oshana.
