7.A. Consider Educational Specifications
Description:
It is recommended that the Sheldon ISD Board of Trustees approve the Educational Specifications for the C. E. King High School 9th and 10th grade campus with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.

7.B. Consider Method of Compliance
Description:
It is recommended that the Sheldon ISD Board of Trustees designate the new C. E. King 9th and 10th grade campus to comply with the quantitative method of compliance with a level 3 flexibility with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.

7.C. Consider Replacement of existing Playground Equipment at Carroll, Monahan, Royalwood, and Sheldon Elementary Schools
Description:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve All Play, Inc. as a member of a Cooperative Partnership, to provide replacement of existing playground equipment collectively at Carroll, Monahan, Royalwood, and Sheldon Elementary at a price not to exceed $1,052,742.60 as the best value to the district with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.

7.D. Consider Educator's Depot Inc. for Furniture Fixtures and Equipment (FF & E) for the New Null Middle School Expansion
Description:
It is the recommendation that the Board of Trustees approve Educator's Depot, Inc. as a member of a Cooperative Partnership, to provide Furniture Fixtures and Equipment (FF & E) for the Null Middle School Expansion for a price not to exceed $373,840.20 which is the best value to the district.
Furthermore, it is recommended that the Board of Trustees authorize the superintendent or designee to negotiate and execute a contract with the highest ranked proposer, to approve payments, and authorize expenditures which do not alter the contract cost or contract time and with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes. |
7.E. Consider Replacement/Upgrade of existing Front Row A/V System in Existing Classrooms at Null Middle School
Description:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve Piraino Consulting as a member of a Cooperative Partnership, to provide replacement/upgrades to the existing Front Row A/V system in the existing classrooms of Null Middle School at a price not to exceed $426,779.16 as the best value to the district with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.

7.F. Consider Replacement/Upgrade of existing PA/Intercom Clock System at Null Middle School
Description:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve Piraino Consulting, as a member of a Cooperative Partnership, to provide a new PA/Clock system at the existing Null Middle School at a price not to exceed $128,446.07 as the best value to the district with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.

Description:
It is recommended that the above amendments to the 2023-2024 budget be approved with a copy to be attached to and become a part of the minutes.

7.H. Consider the Adoption of the 2023 Tax Rate
Description:
It is recommended that a total tax rate of $1.2575/$100 be adopted for the 2023-2024 budget year (2023 tax year) in accordance with current tax laws with a tax rate distribution outlined above, along with the attached motion on tax rate with a copy to be attached to and become a part of the minutes.

7.I. Consider Adoption of the Sheldon ISD Education Foundation 5K Shuffle as a School Event
Description:
It is recommended that the Board adopt the Sheldon ISD Foundation 5K Shuffle/Run as a school event with a copy to be attached to and become a part of the minutes.

7.J. Consider Deputies for October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024 - 11 Officers
Description:
It is recommended that the Sheldon ISD Board of Trustees approve the contract with the Harris County Constable, Precinct 3, for the continuation of the contract Patrol Program beginning October 1, 2023 at a projected cost of $896,280.00, with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.

7.K. Consider Deputies for October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024 - 6 Officers
Description:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the contract with the Harris County Constable, Precinct 3, for the continuation of the contract Patrol Program beginning October 1, 2023, at a projected cost of $698,400.00, with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.

Description:
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the attached Appraisal Calendar for Teachers for the 2023-2024 school year with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.

Description:
It is recommended that the attached list of administrators be approved as appraisers for the 2023-2024 school year.

7.N. Consider First Choice Educational Services for Sheldon ISD Campus LSSP's and SLP for the 2023-2024 school year
Description:
It is the recommendation that the Board of Trustees approve the First Choice Educational Services contracted service agreement. Per the service agreement, the cost should not exceed $193,900.00 for the 2023-2024 school year. Furthermore, it is recommended that the Board of Trustees authorize the superintendent or designee authority to approve payments and authorize expenditures, which do not alter the contract or contract time, with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.

7.O. Consider Mickey Special Education Assessment, Advocacy, and Consulting PLLC
Description:
It is the recommendation that the Board of Trustees approve the Mickey Special Education Assessment, Advocacy, and Consulting PLLC contracted service agreement. Per the service agreement, the cost should not exceed $83,400.00 for the 2023-2024 school year. Furthermore, it is recommended that the Board of Trustees authorize the superintendent or designee authority to approve payments and authorize expenditures, which do not alter the contract or contract time with a copy to be attached to and become part of the minutes.

Description:
It is the recommendation that the Board of Trustees approve the 7 Mindsets contracted service agreement.
