Description:
The Board, chaired by the President, has reviewed the canvass of all precinct returns of the April 2023 consolidated election held for the purpose of electing three members of the School Board to fill four-year terms. The Abstract of Votes and Statement of Votes Cast compiled by the Tazewell County Clerk's Office containing vote totals for each candidate are included in agenda support materials.

Description:
Board member Huey nominated Ryan Wrigley as President, Manda Brown as Vice President, and Quinn Barra as Secretary. No other nominations were made. Ryan Wrigley was named President of the Board of Education.

Description:
The Close Up trip is annually sponsored by the Social Studies Department, with Alexandra Hantak as next year's faculty advisor. This nearly week-long program (tentatively March 24-29, 2024) is open to juniors and seniors and is conducted in and around our nation's capital. Board Policy 7:327 requires Board approval for any trip over 500 miles from Pekin.

Students on the 2022-2023 Mid-Illini Conference Academic Awards list included in agenda support materials are senior athletes who have earned at least one varsity letter this year and have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher during their four years of high school.
