Description:
The Board will vote to present the Santiam Award to the student selected as the 2025 Stayton Rotary Future First Citizen (award presentation at June 11, 2026 meeting).
RECOMMENDED MOTION I move that the Board present the Santiam Award to Owen Mitzel for being selected as the 2025 Stayton Rotary Future First Citizen.

17. VIRTUAL CHARTER SCHOOL ENROLLMENT EXTENSION (3% CAP)
Description:
At the December 18, 2025, meeting, the Board voted to extend the suspension of the enforcement of the 3% cap on resident student virtual charter school enrollment through June 30, 2026. The Board will consider whether to continue this action.
POSSIBLE MOTIONS I move that the Board continue to direct the Superintendent to suspend enforcement of the 3% cap on resident students released to enroll in virtual charter schools [through _______] [until further notice]. I move that the Board direct the Superintendent to begin enforcing the 3% cap on resident students released to enroll in virtual charter schools as of ____________.
