1. CALL SPECIAL SESSION TO ORDER
Description:
The Session Special of the North Santiam School District’s Board of Directors is called to order at 5:30 pm. While it is an open meeting of the Board and the public is allowed to observe in-person and via Zoom, a large portion of the meeting will occur in Executive Session, and that is not open to the public (see below).

Description:

3. SUPT. SEARCH SCREENING ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Description:
The Screening Committee will meet with the Board to review their applicant ranking sheets to help determine a list of those who will be asked to interview for the position. This discussion will occur in Executive Session and is not open to the public.

3.1. Enter into Executive Session ORS 192.660(2)(a)
Description:
As per ORS 192.660(2)(a), the Board will enter into Executive Session "to consider the employment of a staff member". This portion of the agenda will only be for board members, the NSSD Director of HR, the Screening Advisory Committee and the Board Administrative Assistant. Anyone else in attendance will be asked to exit the meeting.
No Board motions will occur during this agenda item and upon the close of the discussion, the Board will return to Open Session and members of the public will be allowed back into the online and in-person meeting space. |

4. INTERVIEW PROCESS
Description:
This time is set aside to discuss the time, dates and format for interviews and the process for developing interview questions.

5. INTERNET/SOCIAL MEDIA SEARCH TRAINING
Description:
OSBA Executive Search Consultant Steve Kelley will provide training for Board members as they prepare to perform internet and social media searches on the applicants that are moving forward in the interview process.

6. CONTRACT PARAMETERS
Description:
This time is set aside for a Board discussion, should it be needed, regarding the parameters of the contract for the new superintendent.
