I.D. Approval of Application for Cooperative Sponsorship
Description:
The Administration recommends approval of an Application for Cooperative Sponsorship to the Minnesota State High School League for Girls Gymnastics between Apollo High School, Tech High School, and Cathedral High School for the 2017-2018 school year.

I.E. Quarryview Education Center Change Orders Totaling +$323,612.50
The Administration recommends approval of the following change orders for the above named project. - Change Order #1 with Kraemer Trucking & Excavating, Inc., Contract #32A, in the amount of +$2,992.50 to change 570 lineal feet of standard B-612 curb and gutter to surmountable curb and gutter. - Change Order #4 with Kraemer Trucking & Excavating, Inc., Contract #31A, in the amount of +$320,620.00 to eliminate storm water pond #2 located at the south of Discovery School; install underground storm tech infiltration basin instead of the pond. This project is funded with Lease Levy funds. These change orders are within the approved budget for this project. |
I.F. Call for Bids - Tech High School - New Site - Bid Package #1
The Administration recommends that the Board of Education authorize a Call for Bids for Tech High School - New Site - Bid Package #1 which consists of Earthwork, Site Utilities, Athletic Field construction and amenities, and Structural Footings and Foundations to be opened on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time. The Call for Bids page will be available at www.isd742.org, Departments, Business Services. This project will be funded with Bond Proceeds. |
II. DISCUSSION AND/OR ACTION ITEMS

II.A. Approval of Third Party Administrators for Health and Dental Insurance Plans and Premiums for 2017-2018 (ACTION)
Description:
Tracy Flynn Bowe, Executive Director of Human Resources, will present recommendations from the District Labor Management Committee regarding the selection of third party administrators for the health and dental insurance plans and the setting of premiums for those plans for the new plan year commencing on October 1, 2017. George Vander Weit, Senior Benefits Consultant with OneDigital, will review the plan performance to date in each plan and projections for the 2017-2018 plan year. A summary of the recommendations is attached, and additional information regarding plan performance will be presented at the meeting.
The Administration recommends approval of the Labor Management Committee recommendations as presented.

Description:
