The Board recommends that the student be transferred to the Discovery Academy, with limited on-campus access for testing or when staff deem necessary, for the remainder of the first semester; The Board of Education directs that the student be assigned to the Discovery Academy under these conditions, and that the student's academic progress and compliance be reviewed on November 20, 2025, for consideration of in-person attendance at the Discovery Academy and possible return to Berrien Springs High School on a Last Chance Behavior Contract for second semester, contingent upon satisfactory progress.
