Description:  Recommendation:
That the Board of Education approves the consent agenda as presented.

Description:  The minutes are included for Board review.

Description:  Board Secretary Mary Lenzen recommends declassifying the closed session minutes in the attached memo.  Closed-session audio recordings over 18 months old are being recommended for destruction. 

Description:  The warrant lists are attached for Board review.  Jason Nash and Griffin Sonntag reviewed the bills.

Description:  Attached is the Personnel Report for your review.

Description:  The district will recognize PES principal Kathleen Tomei, who was awarded the West Cook County Elementary School Principal of the Year by the Illinois Principal's Association.  This award puts Kathleen in the running for the Illinois Principal of the Year. 

Description:  Griffin Sonntag will give a presentation on the proposed solar panel project at Pleasantdale Middle School.

Description:  As is our practice, the Board of Education regularly reviews Board Policy to ensure that our current policies reflect the realities of running a school district. The following policies are on the agenda for review or revision (1.30 and 3.70)

Description:  The district received six Freedom of Information Requests (FOIA) this month.

1. Owen Wang from the South Cook News submitted a FOIA seeking information on our students' immigration status.  
2. Karyn Lisowski requested information about Middle School enrollment for four school years, from 2021 through current. 
3. Karyn Lisowski requested information about District enrollment for four school years from 2021 through current. 
4. Karyn Lisowski requested information about Pre-K and Kindergarten enrollment for four school years, from 2021 through current. 
5. Owen Wang from the South Cook News submitted a FOIA seeking emails and memos. 
6. Rhonda Norris from provenIT requested electronic copies of the district's copier, MFP and printer leases and sales/ maintenance agreements.

Description:  The purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public body, including meetings held for the purpose of discussing whether a particular parcel should be acquired. (5 ILCS 120/2(c)(5).

The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees, specific individuals who serve as independent contractors in a park, recreational, or educational setting, or specific volunteers of the public body or legal counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee, a specific individual who serves as an independent contractor in an educational setting, or a volunteer of the public body or against legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity. 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1).
