03-26: Cody & Jessica Shears, 1117 Avenue Q. The applicant is proposing the replacement of 96' of existing 4' fence in the front and side yards with a new 6' wood fence. The application has been denied because the proposed installation does not comply with the City's Unified Land Development Ordinance (the proposed 6' fence exceeds the maximum allowed height for front and side yards). (Notice of public hearing on August 24, 2026, published in the Daily Nonpareil on August 20, 2026.)

When located within a front yard shall not exceed four feet in height measured from the adjacent ground level. D. When located in a side yard, six-foot privacy fences shall be allowed from the rear of the house to the front of the house only by special permit from the Board of Adjustment.
