Description:  The minutes will stand approved as presented unless a member of the board requests a change.  If a change is to be made, a motion, maker and second will be placed on the floor and then voted upon by the board members.

person."

*According to BB 9323 MEETING CONDUCT, Section 6, "No oral presentation shall include charges or complaints against any employee of the board, including the Superintendent, regardless of whether or not the
employee is identified by name or another reference which tends to identify. Charges or complaints against employees must be submitted to the Board under the provisions of Board policy and administrative regulations related to such complaints."

Description:  Our adopted rules of Parliamentary Procedure, Robert’s Rules, provide for a consent agenda listing several items for approval of the Board by a single motion. Most of the items listed under the consent agenda have gone through Board subcommittee review and recommendation. Documentation concerning these items has been provided to all board members and the public in advance to assure an extensive and thorough review. Items may be removed from the consent agenda and placed under new business at the request of any board member.

Description:  BP 6161.1: (cf. 6141 - Curriculum Development and Evaluation), Updated the committee membership to include parents and community representatives. Also removed the final sentence regarding the Citizen's Review Committee reviewing instructional materials and making recommendations to the school board.

After new or revised policies receive a second and final board approval, they are submitted to the AASB for inclusion/revision/deletion to our online policy manual. Policies that have completed this full approval and submission process will now be listed in the section.

Description:  A special meeting will need to be scheduled sometime between June 23–25, 2026 to address budget revisions. This item is provided as advance notice, so Board members can begin considering their availability during that timeframe.

Executive Session: The board reserves the right to enter into executive session on any agenda item as provided for in State law. Executive sessions will be entered into by motion and approved by a majority of the Board for discussion of the following subjects as permitted by law:

(1) Matters, the immediate knowledge of which would clearly have an adverse effect upon the finances of the District;

(2) Subjects that tend to prejudice the reputation and character of any person, provided that the person may request a public discussion;

(3) Matters which, by law, municipal charter, or ordinance, are required to be confidential. Motions to go into executive session should specify the subject of the proposed executive session without defeating the purpose of addressing the subject in private.
