Discussion:
Mr. Gegg reported on the financial status of the district

4.b.1. Buildings & Grounds Committee Report
Discussion:
The buildings and grounds committee reported on upcoming summer projects including the construction of the FFA greenhouse, resurfacing the track and installing fence around the playground. There was also a long term plan for facility improvements

4.c. Superintendent's Report
Discussion:
Mr. Gegg reported that they are working on State and Federal reports that are due in May and June, there are 22 students registered for the new driver's education program and the future transportation needs were discussed.

4.c.1. Junior High Sports Coop Update
Discussion:
Mr. Gegg and the Board discussed the advantages and disadvantages of the potential Junior High Sports Coop with Kenesaw or Wood River. After much discussion including class scheduling and teacher/coach availability the general consensus was to pursue a Junior High Coop with Wood River. Mr. Gegg and Mr. Wieseler will work to finalize an agreement with Wood River

4.d. Elementary Principal Report
Discussion:
Elementary Principal Report
Mr. Kenton reported PK - 6th enrollment is 159. Our first year as a Teammates Chapter was successful, there were many successful matches and there is a waiting list for mentors. Next year's reading groups within Reading Mastery are being planned. The PTO AR challenge party will be held on May 16th. Dates are set for staff professional development sessions this summer with trainings in Reading Mastery and Eureka Math.

4.e. High School Principal Report
Discussion:
High School Principal Report
Mr. Wieseler reported 7th-12th enrollment is 134. Staff professional development is planned with a strong focus on AQUESST. Graduation took place on May 11th with 23 graduates. NSCAS tests are complete and semester tests are taking place this week. Shelton hosted the Junior High track meet on May 3rd, High School district track was on May 10th and we have twelve athletes heading to State Track.
