October 7, 2014 at 9:00 AM - SCS Administration Meeting

Rationale:  1.  Teacher/Principal Evaluation Process:  Mr. Gibbons, Mr. Grammer, and I participated in a Marzano principal/teacher evaluation webinar on Monday.  We will share information at the meeting.

2. FileMaker Data Portal:  We are ready to send out the data portal to all staff to give them access to the 9 FileMaker programs.  We reviewed all programs and discussed the implementation of these programs with staff.

3.  Parent-Teacher Conference:  I visited with Jeff Andel and he relayed to me that his vendors are willing to host a food show for your parent-teacher conferences.  We also visited in September about possible changes in the format of conferences to encourage increased participation and emphasize the importance of parent participation in their child's education.  Your building plans are due on October 18th.

4.  Saturday School/Behavior Programs:  I have my first request for payment for Saturday School from the middle school.  This request should come from the staff member covering the assignment, approved by the building principal, and then sent to the superintendent for payment.  I need to have your behavior plan and your Saturday School plan before I will approve payment in the future.  Your building plan is due on October 18th.

5.  Strategic Planning Information:  The strategic planning information is also on the portal.  I will need to schedule a time to work with building principals to make sure we have all action plans included in this portal.  This will be important for us to be able to plan the format for the second round of strategic planning scheduled for November 26th.

6.  Superintendent's Calendar:  My calendar is now shared.  Dave Gibbons will help you if you have any trouble accessing the calendar.  Due to conflicts, the weekly administrator meeting will be moved from Tuesday to Wednesday next week.  This is on my calendar as well as on the meeting portal.  Board reports are due next Thursday for the October 20th board meeting.

7.  The Richest Man in Town:  Keep reading the book.  Sorry that the CD in the back was not an electronic version of the book.  Thought that was too good to be true.  Enjoy your reading.
