Discussion:
7th Grade, Caleb E & Kassidy S: St Paul - Courage Retreat - instructors led activities, made goals for year, worthwhile event, recommend for future classes.
9th Grade, Emmy S & Adreya S: St Paul - Respect Retreat - welcoming ceremony w/games to meet other students, sessions with team leaders, great opportunity, leaders from Minnesota, learned a lot, three parts of Respect - Yourself, Others, Stand Up for Yourself, pick a topic and write down goal for year, great opportunity to meet/interact with other students. Mrs. Meyer, PEA: 24 1st graders - biggest class ever, really good class, Mrs. Sullivan as a para - very helpful & lucky to have her, RTI/MTSS process - ESU work sessions - really good place - collecting a lot of data - ahead of other schools - reading/math interventions. Mrs. Royle, RCA: thank you for sending me, amazing experience from the welcome, adapting own classroom, balancing magic/rigor, Kim Bearden - Talk to Me book, kids can do anything - give love and encouragement, neat to see what Palmer has already implemented and using. Mrs. Loeffelbein: 4-H after school sessions - this week only - Acres of Adventures, students in need - Santa Cop/Christmas of Sharing/FFA support baskets - Mon in CC @ 6 pm wrapping presents for Santa Cop, Christmas Concert - Dec 18th, 7 pm, mid-year assessment finishing up, RCA - strategic in targeting/DOT connection survey - thank you for sending group. |
