Students:
Brady M (4th) - 4H After School Outdoor Program - archery, adventure/outdoor skills, very fun, learned a lot. Faith B and Alyssa B (9th) - HAL trip - Hastings Public Library - computer lab inside library for high school/college studying, 3D printer, cricket for scrapbooking, sound proof room; Escape Room - a lot of fun, lots of learning/teamwork. Mr. Wegner - Activity Year-End Report - contracts are mostly done; officials hired; change of game times for JH; thanks to Boosters for concession allocation raise; summer calendar - weights/summer camps/leagues; participation numbers; NSAA changes update. PEA: Mrs. Thompson - Omaha field trip went very well, beautiful day; new social studies curriculum was a big change and challenging, but went well; new science standards to swap this summer and prepare for next year; two more graduate classes this summer and tutoring two Palmer students this summer - graduate end of July. Mrs. Royle - grateful to be at Palmer, first year went really well; 8th grade - new state standards for math tested - made some changes from textbooks, hands-on activities and interactive; business math update; incorporate items from summer math conference; science update; math intervention class - researching and planning for next year, finding motivation; finished up track - went well. |
