The success of the Samsung solve team was highlighted. Mr Reinmuth and team have been invited to future meeting. Gering made history as the only school to have made it to the finals twice. Janelle Schultz was recognized as the recipient of the 2018 NSAA Outstanding Service Award. A formal award presentation will take place at the State Journalism Championships on April 23 during the Class A team awards ceremony. The musical was reportedly well attended, and highly successful. Athletic districts will soon occur as the school year rounds out. A retirement tea is being planned for May 9 at 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. In years past this has been hosted at the high school, but with the current construction underway this will take place at the Junior High. Formal invitations will follow as plans are finalized in the week ahead. High school graduation will be hosted at WNCC on Sunday, May 20 at 2:00 pm.
