Executive Director of Elementary Academics Ann Pettit shared the reflection on the district's August 2025 professional development sessions, which focused on preparing staff for the new school year. Highlights include CHAMPS review for classroom and behavior management, Compass training on math instruction and standards alignment, and collaborative work around district values and beliefs. The shared reflection summarized staff feedback, key learning outcomes, and how these sessions support consistency and student success across the district.

Superintendent Kevin Case reviewed student enrollment numbers by grade level for the first day of school and compared overall district numbers to previous years. Student enrollment is trending upward.

15. District Building Tour.
Discussion:
Board members, administrators and meeting attendees toured the schools and several department areas to see the completion of summer construction projects. It highlighted the district's belief in continuous improvement.
