(Drew did not join the Zoom. His other meeting ran over.) Rebecca suggested they keep going with the $2000/week payment agreement and revisit.

Mural Project - Ron Meyer
Discussion:
Council member Meyer discussed his opposition to the city using betterment funds to pay for the mural on the community center building. Several members of the community were present to show their support or opposition. After a long discussion, no action is being taken as the down payment that was voted on last month has been deposited by the artist. Council member Meyer also discussed the parking lot area to be paved between the community center and pharmacy, and the depot building that is owned by the railroad that is falling into disrepair.

Blue Hill Golf Assoc.- parking lot lights
Discussion:
Ralph Williams was present to discuss with the board about the lighting outside the golf course clubhouse. The parking area is dark and lighting is needed to make the area safe to walk around at night. The city guys are currently working on lighting and will either use timers or motion lights in the parking area. (no motion - discussion only)

SCEDD Nuisance Abatement Agreement for 2025 and Resolution 2025-1; Appointing SCEDD as the Nuisance Officer for 2025

City Superintendent Report
Discussion:
Superintendent Edgar's report: Trimming trees in the parks and streets, new pump at Saline Street lift station, new water service at 102 S Ash Street, reports on PFAS, Utility worker John Brown is taking an online electrical course, painting walls at the light plant.
He found some guys from other towns who are wiling to come train them on the generators. They're only concern is liabailty when they are here if something were to happen. LARM will be contacted first to see if our insuracne covers this. |

January 3rd, a report of a dog running around at the country store, and January 6th, a barking dog at 202 W Lancaster St.
