Mr. Thompson gave a monthly financial report. He ask board members if they wanted prior month reports added to the monthly report, and they stated to just keep doing the monthly reports

6. SUPERINTENDENT'S REPORT: JEFF THOMPSON
Discussion:
Mr. Thompson presented the Superintendent's Report. The OSSBA will have their District 2 Meeting in Alva October 29th. Bus #4 is ready to pickup in OKC, and Bus #3 will be switched out due to it having some issues that need to be addressed. Ideal Impact has completed the initial analysis, and soon will be giving Mr. Thompson an update on possible savings. He will have them come to a board meeting to discuss the results, and see if this is something the board will want to do. Woodward Plumbing is working on an estimate, for the school, for a warmer for the cafeteria. The school will purchase the equipment and Woodward Plumbing will install it. The warmer will be electric, not gas as previous.
The following are SRO projects-Northwest Glass has installed windows at Sharon, Northwest Glass will be installing locking mechanisms on the doors for the FOB system, and the installation of the FOB system is being scheduled to be done in the next couple of weeks. The ODOT Walking Trail is currently completing environmental studies. We will have a 90% meeting in January, and the plan is to let out bids in January of 2028. Mr. Thompson spoke with Andy today, and stated there is no update at this time on the CWA situation. |

7. PRINCIPAL'S REPORT- JEFF THOMPSON AND BRAD SHRYOCK
Discussion:
Elementary Report: Mr. Thompson reported that we have 118 students enrolled in PK-6th. Elementary activities include the following: Fire Pit Fundraiser, Book Fair, Elementary FB games, and P/T Conferences. Fall Break will be October 15th-19th. Teacher Amazon Pages are still open and will be available all year.
Student's of the Month- PreK-Kolln Watson Kind-Karsyn Whatley 1st-Mays Johnson 2nd-Skylar Bonnell 3rd-Zerek Marin 4th-Easton Johnson 5th-Ethan Belis 6th-Kaidyn Shick High School Report: Mr. Shryock reported their enrollment remains at 93 students 7th-12th. He reports Homecoming was a huge success. They had around 15 alumni come and tour the school during Open House on Friday before the game. Some of the other activities include Academic Triads, 8 FFA members went to trap shoot at Laverne, FCCLA will have 2 students attending the Fall Leadership Conference, and Volleyball is in full swing. There will be a Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser for Myri Wilson on Friday, 25th, before the game. Mrs. Green gave report on the proposed student exemption.

9. BOARD TO CONSIDER AND TAKE ACTION ON LOCATION OF SHARON BUS BARN
Discussion:
John Elam discussed the various locations to build the Sharon Bus Barn. It was decided that the original location would not be easily accessible and would require more preparation to get ready. The board decided that site #4, on the south side of the teacher's parking lot, across from the lower elementary, would be the most convenient and best location.

Discussion:
John Elam discussed various locations to build the Mutual bus barn. After discussion, it was decided to put it on Site #3 on the map. It will be set north and south unless it doesn't work, then will be put east and west.
