6. SUPERINTENDENT'S REPORT: JEFF THOMPSON
Discussion:
Mr. Thompson presented the Superintendent report stating the
legislative session has begun and there are three items to keep an eye on: 1) Board Member Recall, 2) Voucher Bills, 3) Teacher Pay Raises. He talked about each of them, and did say that the Speaker of the House was against the Voucher Bill. The OSSBA provided the whole board training January 31, 2022, and Mr. Thompson stated he would like to have them come out again for further training. The A/C units for the gym are completed and just waiting on shipment date. |

7. PRINCIPAL'S REPORT- JEFF THOMPSON AND TERRI HOPPER
Discussion:
Mr. Thompson reported on the elementary stating enrollment
is the same as last month at 153. The elementary students are selling Little Cesar pizza as a fund raiser, and for Valentine's Day you could have ordered a Singing telegram or a cup filled with Valentine goodies. Today was the County Livestock Show and everyone did great. Mrs.Hopper reported on the HS stating their enrollment is down by one to 48. The upcoming events are S-M Local Stock Show, Woodward County Stock Show, softball starting, baseball starting, 8-Man State Powerlifting att Snyder, and BPA Leadership Conference March 7th-9th, 2022. |

8. LEADERSHIP TEAM REPORT:
Discussion:
Mrs. Nail talked about what her 5th and 6th grade students
have been studying, and encouraged everyone to look in the hallway for the poems that her students prepared. Trisha Thompson reported on 4-H. Last week 44 entries were entered into the photo contest, and the entries were judged by Rhonda Story. Ms Story then talked to the group about how to take better pictures. At March's meeting they will go over their speeches, and then the April meeting they will start working on the outdoor classroom. |
