She likes to make crafts and play board games. She wants to be an Oklahoma State University cheer coach when she grows up. When asked what she is thankful for, she replied that she is thankful for her family.
Charolette Edwards was introduced by Mr. Miller as the Upper Elementary student of the month. Charolette is in the 4th grade. Her teachers say that she is a hard worker, very responsible, makes good choices and always gives 100%. Her favorite parts about school are lunch and reading. Her favorite author is Dr. Seuss, and she wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up. Perry Junior High student of the month for November is Weston Chenowith. He is 13 years old and in the 7th grade. He was introduced by Mr. Carmin who said he was a "man of few words." He plays football, baseball and participates in FFA. His favorite subject is Ag. His teachers all say that while he is quiet, he is always very helpful and respectful. Quinton Bell and Connor Bolay were introduced by Mr. Hight as Co-Students of the month for the High School. He said there was a tie, even after a second vote. He thought that was fitting because the two are best friends and have many common interests. Quinton plays the tenor sax in the band, is on the high school academic team, and is a member of the National Honor Society. He has achieved the rank of "Life Scout", which is one step below the highest rank of Eagle Scout. His teachers say he is very well liked. He plans on attending college and majoring in Aviation Engineering. Connor Bolay is also in the band and is a member of the National Honor Society. His favorite thing about school is showing sheep with FFA and has even earned the grand champion title. His teachers say he is a great role model and is very dependable.
