Elementary Principal - Chris Roby
Discussion:
Last week we did our first set of security drills in the new building. Went well. We finished up last week our star testing. Going really well. Majority made lots of progress. Vision screenings will be Thursday. Basketball 5th and 6th grade girls got their first win tonight.

JH/HS Principal - Andrea Magness
Discussion:
Robotics qualified for State in Weatherford Feb 22-23rd. Academic team was 3rd in area. JH Quiz Bowl at Maple on Wednesday. HS basketball placed 3rd in 3 rivers tourn. FFA state officer team Jan 29th. Okarche Community Fair Feb 2nd. HS Speech in tournaments at Duncan, Okeene and SWOSU. Students- 80 in JH, 99 HS, Elem- 213.

Superintendent - Rob Friesen
Discussion:
ICAP workshops coming up. Program for students. The ICAP will follow them through wherever they go, like college, workforce, etc. E-rate bids. There are a few more dollars available, so we are going to work on our firewall. Beth Schieber asked about our chromebooks, if kids are restricted and not able to access sites they shouldn't be looking at. Mr. Friesen said yes we have blocks in place. It's not perfect, but it does help. About to start purchasing items for the gym and fine arts. Legislation- conf in Norman on Jan 23rd. OSSBA leg advocacy on Feb 4th. Beth Schieber said OSSBA board of directors meeting will have Kevin Stitt in attendance this Friday. Mr. Friesen discussed the finances with the board. We are currently ahead of where we were last year. OSSAA has observed us two times this year. We have basically had 5's all across the board.

Discussion:
Mr. Friesen is talking with electricians and heat and air people about changing to normal thermostats in the rooms at the HS instead of the control module. Same for the exterior lights at the HS.

Update and discussion on construction project
Discussion:
One additional roofing crew today, and two more coming this week to help get things moving faster. Siding and roof will be sealed up. Gas line will be ran and then they can turn the heat on and start on things like tile. Graduation is hopeful for a timeframe of getting in there. Sheetrock is going up. Lights. Terrazzo starts Apr 1st. We have gotten a 35% set of plans for the 3 extra classrooms.

Consideration and action for Okarche Public Schools to join the Oklahoma Public School Investment Interlocal, and authorize the district treasurer to invest and withdraw available school funds in either the Interlocal's Liquid Asset Pool or Fixed income Investment Program, or both.
