Meet the Teacher - Mrs. Doughty
Discussion:
Mrs. Kapustka joined us in the place of Mrs. Doughty and she shared her desire to add Personal Finance as a graduation requirement. This would help because of the school has been selected to receive a $10,000 grant for materials. This class would be targeted to juniors.

Elizabeth Augustyn spoke against the facility assessment options and information about classrooms and test scores. Mary Johnson spoke about agriculture, higher education, and builiding not being necessary. Pat Johnson spoke about wanting to be included in the process and not wanting any building. Rosie Wilson read an article written about a Harvard study on concerns about early admittance to kindergarten. Lisa Harrington spoke about the K-2 building, safety, need for library time, and the proximity of administrators and nurse. Tina Treffer read the article she sent to the Kearney Hub.
