5.a. Discussion on group health insurance plans, including, but not limited to, the cost, fee, assessment, and claim implications, and advantages and disadvantages, if any, of 1) maintaining health insurance coverage through the Oklahoma Public Employees Health & Welfare Plan; or 2) withdrawing from membership in the Interlocal Governmental Agreement sponsoring the Oklahoma Public Employees Health & Welfare Plan, dated July 1, 2000,  and any subsequent and related agreements, and to terminate coverage under the Oklahoma Public Employees Health and Welfare Plan.

5.b. Discussion on group health insurance plans offered through the Oklahoma State Employees Group Insurance Division (“EGID”), including, but not limited to, the cost, fee, assessment, and claim implications, and advantages and disadvantages, if any, of transitioning health insurance from coverage from the Oklahoma Public Employees Health and Welfare Plan to coverage through the EGID.

5.c. Motion and vote to approve or not approve the school district’s withdrawal from the Interlocal Governmental Agreement, to terminate coverage under Oklahoma Public Employees Health & Welfare Plan (“Plan”), and to authorize the Superintendent or designee to give any required notice under the Plan and Interlocal Governmental Agreement and to take all other action necessary to effectuate withdrawal/termination, with the Superintendent timing the withdrawal/termination to best serve the district’s interests.

5.d. Motion and vote to approve or not approve the school district offering health insurance benefits through the Oklahoma State Employees Group Insurance Division, beginning on January 1, 2027, or other date as so moved, and authorizing the Superintendent or designee to take action necessary to effectuate such coverage offering.
