8.4. Report on High School Drop and Remediation Report and ACT scores.
Discussion:
Mike Sparks reported the High School currently has eleven drop-outs and all are accounted for. Mike gave a report on ACT test scores and remediation progress. We had our highest scores in 4 of 5 areas last year. Middle School Math and Science students are being taught some of the upper levels at the High School this year which frees up the teachers at the Middle School to focus on the bottom quartile students and their scores are increasing greatly.
