Rationale:
Saxson Rose was nominated by Mrs. Linea Bonham as an ACE Flyer for the month of August. Saxson used his leadership skills in assisting a visiting football coach on parking the bus and finding the locker rooms. Thanks for stepping up when needed...that's an awesome Flyer!
Caiden Peterman was nominated by Ms. Jamie Silas for the elementary ACE Flyer award. Ms. Silas shared that Caiden is making great choices in the classroom and being an ACE role model! |

Rationale:
In compliance with Nebraska State Statute 79-2,144(1) all school buildings and districts in the State of Nebraska must have board approval of the current School Safety Plan. The attachments include the Franklin Public School District Safety Plan along with the exhibits and documents that support the plan.

8.6. Consider, Discuss and Take Appropriate Action on the Purchase of a Treadmill for the Weight Room
Rationale:
With the decision to ask constituents to walk outside the building and in the building before and after school hours, we have been discussing getting a treadmill for the school. The proposed treadmill, does not use electricity and can be used to walk and/or run. The tread and belt have a 10 year warranty which is the highest of any treadmill on the market. It is built to help runners with their gate and stride and would be good for our student athletes. I recommend this over a normal treadmill for this purpose. I have tried it out and it does take some getting used to, but once you are comfortable with it, it is fairly easy to use.
